Hans passed another level during the test during the last week of September and did an awesome job. He was moving from Yellow to Orange Belt and had to break a thicker board for this level. It was really fun to watch all of them do the different tests. One young man, in the pictures at the end, got one step closer to his black belt. He has been taking for three or four years.
All advancing to Orange belt had to break a board. In order to do so they are taught to visualize breaking the space between the board and the people holding the board. In that way your hand does not stop at the board but you go all the way through to the person and hence you break it cleanly.
Hans did great and we are proud of him.

Great to see the kids. Thanks.
Hans and Dallin and Reid all look the same to me anymore. And then then Dave and Flo's Daniel and Geoff and Colin look the same to me. It's like they're all related or something.
Kicking that board in half looks hard to hit it in just the right spot. Very cool, Hans.
