Hans tonight received the 12 merit badges he had earned over the last year as well as 4 Rank Advancements over the last 2 years. There was a stake court of honor where over 60 scouts got more than 200 merit badges. It was pretty cool. Hans was excited to get all of this caught up so he can go on and get his Life and other merit badges.

Go Hans. I turned 16 before I got my Eagle, and you know what they say about that. Life is good, but Eagle is better.
Way to go! There's room on that merit badge sash for lots more than 21 badges. I haven' seen mine for decades but I've got an Eagle, of which I am very proud, and two palms. Beat me, Hans. Go for three! And I'll come to your Eagle Court of Honor.
