Two Torches Touching In the Night

The hand off from one to another as the Olympic Flame makes it way through the area surrounding Turin. It was quite a site to see this happen. Although I have been to seven Olympics, I don't think I have ever paid attention to the 'Torch Relay.'

The lighting of the Flame in Seoul when the doves got toasted, the moment I found out Ali was going to light the torch in Atlanta...the way the torch was lite in Sydney are all great moments and now to see this in person as it passed by my 'temporary housing' was pretty cool.

I got thinking about Winter Olympics. The flame movement and passing brought back some memories that I'd not thought about for a LONG time. I remembered the flame passing through Berkeley on the way to Squaw Valley in -- was it 1960? That's a long time ago. The middle of the day wasn't as exciting as your pics, however.
